Another Fairy Birthday Card!

Hi everyone! Lately I’ve had to make a lot of birthday cards for girls and here is another one. Luckily, while making those other cards I had extra images and cutouts that I could use to make a quick birthday card.

To makes this card I used extra pieces I had from two previous projects where I used the Lawn Fawn sets Fairy Friends and Baked With Love. First I made a background on the card by masking the top and bottom borders and sponging the center using Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink. I added some water splatters and some pearl shimmer splatters to the background for interest. Then, I glued the images and added a banner with a heat white embossed sentiment from Lawn Fawn’s Bakes With Love stamp set. Side Note: I had actually stamped the sentiment directly to the card previously but it had too much ink and didn’t look right! This is how I fixed it and I love it!

To finish the card, I added some Wink of Stella to the fairy wings and added some star embellishments to the background.This was a fairly quick and easy card to put together since I had the images colored and cut already from previous projects. So there you go! Make sure you don’t throw out those extra scraps or pieces you don’t use. Just use them on another project!
