Two Cards, One Stamp Set

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing two single layer cards that I made using the same stamp set. I used the Gina K Designs Just a Little stamp set created by Lisa Hetrick. This stamp set has a gorgeous large floral arrangement that I have been dying to use!

On the first card, I arranged the floral stamp on the top right corner of the card and stamped it using Gina K Blue Denim ink. I did some masking around the flower and leaves and added the striped background to the card using Gina K Tomato Soup ink. To finish the card, I added some color to the flower and leaves (very light grey) using Copic markers, added some wink of stella, and some white Nuvo drops.On the second card, I decided to move the arrangement to the bottom left corner of the card and stamped using gray ink. I stamped the background in pink and colored the flower with a light pink and green Copic markers. I finished the card by adding some wink of Stella to the petals and adding a few Morning Dew drops. Tip: I wanted green drops so I had colored green circles using Copic markers and then put the clear drops over it. It worked perfectly!

For both cards I used the “Just” and “Thinking of You” sentiments that came with the stamp set.

Love how using different color variations and stamping location can change the look of a card. The first card is very bold while I find the second card to be more soothing. I can’t wait to keep trying other color combinations… maybe teal and light yellow!
