Hi everyone! Today I’ll be sharing a birthday card I made using the Concord and 9th Blooms Fill-in stamps and dies.
To create this card, I was inspired by a color palette that I had seen in Pinterest which had teals and reds. I just fall in love with these two vibrant colors together and thought it will be a great combination for a card background!
To make this card, I stamped the images using Altenew mini ink cubes in the following colors:
- Rouge
- Ruby Red
- Volcano Lake
- Emerald
- Moon Rock
- Evening Gray
To complete this card, I die cut a section of the background to pop up with foam to add interest to the card. Also, I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Daisy Delight Gina K Desings stamp set in Ruby Red onto a white strip of card stock and added a thin red strip underneath. To finish the card off, I added some dots with liquid pearls to the card.
I absolutely love how vibrant this card looks! Also, this stamp set is soooo much fun to use! I can see creating a card set with these using various color combinations.
If you are stuck on what colors to use, I recommend searching for color palettes for inspiration!
Thanks,
Yami
